        Born in Boujaad, Morocco.
        He moves to Paris where he finishes his university studies in Humanities. He learned his stage craft with Jacques Jecoq and Jerzy Grotowsky and also during encounters with Peter Brook and Eugenio Barba.

        From an early age in Morocco, he was bathed in traditional cantillation, in Paris he studies singing with Tamia, Giovana Marini, Sigmund Molik and the lute - oûd with Hussein El Masry.

        He is faithful to his triple culture of french, jewish and arab, for several years has focused his work on Matrouz, a contemporary creation coming from traditional judeo-arab including the Musical,Theatral,Poetical and Story-Telling Matrouz.

        He performes most of his own works:
Le Chant Vivant de Langues croisées, le Cantique des Cantiques, Offrande, l’Amour Poème en Errance, la Légende de Cerf Berr de Medelsheim, Bled-sur-scène, Médina-Folies, Mchouga-Maboul…

He his also the singer-interpreter in works by the authers: L. Atlan, T. Ben-Jelloun, E. A. El Maleh, A. Hampaté Ba, A. Laabi, H. Meschonnic, J. Rulfo, K.Yacine…

He performs in France and abraod and has taken part in numerous festivals:Avignon, Bourges, Cannes, Casablanca, Edinburgh, Limoges, Montréal…
